I hope that things gets better for you and your daughter. I went through a lot of things with my older son. After the divorce with my ex, my son blamed me for a long time. He was 7. As he got older him and I had problems. We he was in his teens and I got with my dh now alot of things started going wrong, and fhe moved in with his dad. When things didn't go his way, he would say that he would leave me, and go to his dad's. When he did move out, he could not stand living with him, because they were too much a like and they would fight all the time, so he moved back. It has taken a lot of his, but our relationship is really tight now. He knows just how much I love him and that I would do anything for him. As a single mom back then, it seem like his dad was always trying to out do me. He had the money and I didn't. Now he comes to me when ever something is wrong, and that makes me feel so good. It may be hard now and look bad, but give it time. I didn't want to hear it from others, because I went through some really bad times. I love him and he loves me. Things will work out for you. I will pray for every area of your life, that things will start going good for you. Take care. _________________

well we have an update and its not good im doing ok, a lot of family probs at the moment with my 16 year old daughter as you know.. we have just found out she has been taking cannabis and alcohol for the past 5 months and is quite dependent on them, which is why her grades were failing..we knew there was something just not this..we are getting her counciling but it will only work if she want it too and at the moment she doesnt think she has a problem.. I am trying to get some support for us as a family too, but its hard finding any.. sorry for that but i am frantic over all this, i'm scared my little girl is going to get even worse

You sound like a very strong and loving family. I am sure you will all come out of the end of this situation. If she is saying things to make you then maybe get an older brother or sister to talk to her. Some people find it hard to talk to parents and open up but look up to older siblings. Hope this all gets sorted for you soon xx
